The Heart
behind the book
In a world that pushes identity through achievement and comparison, children need more than confidence —
they need Truth about who they are.

As a scientist, mentor to PhD students and pastor, I had seen many struggle with comparing, pretending, and eventually—even crumbling. Myself included.

What sustained me wasn't more success- it was God's Word and me praying- even wrestling- with it.

When my niece and nephew were born, I thought- what if children grow up anchored in truth- not waiting until when they are adults to find their footing?

So, I decided to create this book-
to help children build strong, secure identities rooted in God’s Word. And more than learning Scripture, they learn to pray it and own it— simply, sincerely, and believing.

I hope this book is provides more than head-knowledge of Psalm 139 for its readers. I pray it plant seeds of identity that are nurtured by love and watered by prayer —
from the earliest years onward.
